Regardless of our differences, there is always something that brings us together, it can be is love, religion, science, or peace. This painting depicts a situation in which a bird and a fish are attempting to find common ground to make a life. The apple would represents the environment in which they can meet regardless of their differences.

Kani Bahoya Paul is a Congolese artist from Bukavu. He is a fourth-year exchange student at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies pursiuing Peace and Conflict Studies. Paul is a painter and videographer who uses his skills to advocate for peace in Africa. He paints to tell stories about how important harmony is and why conflict should be transformed.
