SCHULZ ISAAC

2020年、作者はギリシャ神話とCy Twomblyシリーズを集中的に制作。
Cy Twomblyの“Triumph of Galatea”とRaphaelの“GALATEA”を参考にiPadドローイングと紙と鉛筆を用いて何パターンも先ずはドローイングを描き、最終的にこの大きさのキャンバスにペイントをしました。

In 2020, the Schulz concentrated on Greek mythology and the Cy Twombly series.
First, he created several patterns using iPad drawings, paper and pencil, using Cy Twombly’s “Triumph of Galatea” and Raphael’s “GALATEA” as a reference.
In the end, he painted this canvas.

Born in Celo, North Carolina USA, in 1976.

Born in the mountains of North Carolina, I have always used this connection to Nature as a base of who I am.
I mostly paint and draw as my mediums. I am a director and teacher at TC Kids creative arts Preschool, a husband and father.
I am inspired by really looking and using what I observe to produce portraits, tributes to history, and abstract and contemporary pop works of art.
I am influenced by my studies of Neolithic art to Paris in the early 1900s to Skateboarding, Graffiti and Pop culture to daily life in the modern day to day.
I work in series, focusing on a topic until it feels completed.

シュルツ・アイザック
1976年米国ノースカロライナ州セロ生まれ。
2007年より東京在住。
これまでノースカロライナ、ニューヨーク、サンフランシスコ、ハワイ、大阪、沼津、東京等でグループ展や個展を行う。
ノースカロライナの山で生まれ、自然との深いつながりが私の感性を形成した。ペイントとドローイングをする事は私の言語であり名刺である。
クリエイティブ・アート・プリスクールTC Kidsの代表兼講師だけでなく、夫であり、2児の父親。
私は周りの出来事を深く観察するのが得意でそこからインスピレーションを受け、肖像画、歴史へのオマージュ、抽象的で現代的なポップアート作品を制作。
制作過程として新石器時代のアートから1900年代初頭のパリ、スケートボード、グラフィティ、ポップカルチャー、音楽、そして現代の日常生活まで全てを取り入れ、ひとつのシリーズが完成したと感じるまでその作品に取り組んでいる。
