Adult mouse brain stained with haematoxylin and eosin converted to black and white. Black dots are from haematoxylin staining of cell nuclei particularly from neurons and glial cells. Gray surface us for eosin staining of extracellular matrix and cytoplasm. Photos taken from adult mouse cerebellum and captured with Leica DM1 AF6000B.
