The director, thinking aloud…

When I first encountered “the coronavirus”, I panicked immaturely and felt as if everything in our life would change. In time, the stagnation of economic activity became serious. As things didn’t go as we planned, we became frustrated and lonely. Yet, it seems that the coronavirus is not the only influence. As the panic lessened, somewhat allowing us to see our surroundings, the existence of those who, long before the coronavirus, had been anxiously tending to the exposed wounds of our society became apparent. I also reflect on this, feeling prompted to do what I can around me…. One section of our museum, “Introducing Organizations Engaged in Multicultural Society”, is filled with very important proposals for thinking about these issues. I believe it is precisely such grassroots activities that have a fitting vision for the future.
